Examination Rules

  1. Attendance is compulsory for all tests and examinations held during the year. If a student fails to appear for a particular examination, he/she will be given zero. There will be no test conducted on a later date, if a student misses the same.
  2. A minimum of 85% attendance is required for a student to qualify for any test / examination conducted in school.
  3. Students who are late for any examination will not be given any extra time to answer the question paper.
  4. Answer scripts will be distributed to the students after evaluation. In case of any inadvertent error in totalling, unmarked answer script etc, it is to be brought to the notice of the concerned teacher on the same day. Thereafter no answer script will be reviewed.
  5. No student will be promoted conditionally. Those who score less than the minimum pass marks, as per the promotion criteria, will be detained.
  6. No student should use unfair means in any form. Even helping any other student to cheat / use unfair means, will result in strict action taken against the child.
  7. No student should resort to malpractice during exam. If a student is caught, he will be awarded zero in that subject / paper. TC will be issued to the student caught for unfair means, the second time.
  8. All students are expected to maintain strict discipline in the examination room / hall.
  9. No student is expected to take out any blank answer script from the examination hall. Any student found with blank answer script with them, will be dealt severely.
  10. Students, who are not intending to appear for an exam, must give a reason for their absence, in writing.
  11. Students who do not adhere to the above rules will be suspended from the school.
  12. Attendance for a week before the exam is compulsory unless medically unfit.
